I’m feeling this so much right now as my colleagues don’t know how to unite against Zionists who are coming after Academic Freedom. It’s like everyone’s too overwhelmed.

Now thinking to punch-an-inspired-hole in the last hours of this weekend and watch Dune-1 for the first time in lieu of generating more piles of composite dust.

Based on a v-game series, focussed on FallOut 4; should prove an entertaining potential glimpse 200 years into our near to ignite future if Obama manages to secure, by whatever means, a 4th term.

I agree wholeheartedly. I believe that DSA would make a brilliant move in prioritizing such activities. Like most 70s somethings, I tend to be a cranky loner. And yet the arrival of the pandemic marked my golden age of mindful socialization. I volunteered to drive seniors to their medical appointments. What they most needed was 20 minutes of conversation. I met weekly with young DSA members for chats in open air parks and spacious train station waiting rooms. The Zoom meeting needs to coincide if possible with real meetings. DSA should target the aging population which is viciously exploited and might yield as many activists as the universities. I believe that such meetings and discussions are acts of resistance.

As for participating in the reading group every month, I have the same experience of enjoying the discussion very much and being with the members of the group and listening to CL. I shared this feeling with my wife and she is happy that I am participating in this. (Recall that my wife read the entire book to us together out loud.)
