“User friendly superego” is such an awesome name. I once listened to a podcast where you said something to the effect of “right to the unconscious” and it really struck a chord as far as what we could be reaching for, in contrast to the limitations of what you describe in this video. Thank you :)
People on the Left can't wallow in feelings: feelings can't be treated as evidence. The unconscious should make us all skeptical of our immediate reactions...
100% And the wallowing part is so often expressed in the form commodified data at this point, so not only is it depoliticized and fruitless, but also reenforces the tools that are assaulting our unconscious to the benefit of surveillance capital. We desperately need an accessible user friendly superego and fast!
