We finally watched Jonathan Glazer’s Zone of Interest. It is a film about sound and a soundtrack about background noise and the noise of atrocity and it got me thinking about telling the story of one’s life through sound and memory…I’m not a sound studies person, so please don’t ask me if I’ve read the latest book on the topic like some people on my TL did on X when I posted about the anhedonic notions of play offered to us by theory people.
