My Next Walter Benjamin Seminar
March 29! Plus: a sad clown.

Two items for this week:
First, thanks to LA CLiuAnonner Annah for the plug for a one person show by Alex Tatarsky at RedCat. One man show about a sad clown? I can’t resist, but no one in my world wants to go with me, so I’m putting this out to you all.
Just got my ticket for March 21st.
Second, the next Walter Benjamin Seminar will take place Sunday, March 29 at 8:30am PST and we will be discussing the essay, “The Storyteller” and the idea of the Gambler (I will find the references) in Benjamin’s work.

I'm lagging behind here - only just fully re-read the Work of Art... Amazing resonance with the present obvs. Would it be dumb to find that there's a kind of continuity with what he describes in that essay in Generative AI? Is GenAI literally just the final deletion of the aura?
